SCSCS Return to Ona Postponed to August 2nd; Rescheduled Lonesome Pine Next on June 21stStatesville,
North Carolina (June 12, 2025)
– Unfortunately, ever since a clear and sunny weekend that opened
the season at Kingsport Speedway in April, the Super Cup Stock Car
Series has not been able to catch a break with predicted weather
possibilities. The story is
similar again as due to the inclement forecast, the SCSCS portion of
Ona Speedway’s Nitro Construction Kids Night will no longer go on
as originally scheduled. The
return for the first time since 2013 to the West Virginia facility
will now take place on Saturday, August 2nd with an optional Friday
practice on August 1st. Fans, teams, and
drivers will only have to wait another week to try again though.
Saturday, June 21st will mark another attempt at Coeburn,
Virginia’s Lonesome Pine Motorsports Park, making up for the
shortened May 31st and postponed May 3rd shows that were planned
prior. Further details
