Reminder for Reserving Car Numbers for 2018 SCSCS Season,
Schedule/Points Information
Speeding into the
new year, interest in the Super Cup Stock Car Series has been
steady. Returning teams, owners and drivers are reminded that
the numbers registered for the 2017 season will be open to new
drivers and teams following the January 31st deadline.
All
races, with the exception of those designated as special events,
will have points awarded for the SCSCS National championship. Division
points will be awarded to registered drivers in their division.
Exception:
with prior approval, you may substitute a race out of division if
you cannot make a scheduled event in your division for reasons
beyond your control. SCSCS Director of Competition will have
final say on changes.
August
11th will be a Southern Division race. Several
tracks are being considered to host this event however at this time
the location has not been determined. As with previous years'
scheduling travel distances based from registration will be a major
factor in determining the location.
Special
events will be determined by registration after all points races are
confirmed.
