Lincoln Welders Comes On Board as SCSCS Contingency Sponsor

Mount Joy, Pennsylvania (May 11, 2017) – Ohio-based Lincoln Electric will join the Super Cup Stock Car Series family as a contingency sponsor for the 10^th Anniversary 2017 season.  Lincoln Electric is the world leader in the design, development, and manufacture of various welding products and systems.

In conjunction with the partnership, at season’s end a Lincoln Welder will be presented to one of the series teams.  This continues a long history of the Lincoln Welders brand’s involvement in motorsports, especially at the grassroots and short track level.

The SCSCS advisory board will determine under what criteria the award will be given.  More information will follow in the coming months.

The Super Cup Stock Car Series formed in late 2007 as an affordable alternative to existing full-bodied stock car racing tours. The series features 600 horsepower, steel-bodied stock cars that were formerly associated with similar racing divisions. SCSCS enters its 10th full season of “Racin’ the Way It Used To Be!” in 2017 with events at pavement short tracks throughout the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic.
