            SCSCS Schedule Coming Together
  Oviedo,
Florida (December 12, 2016) – The Super Cup Stock Car
Series schedule for 2017 is filling quickly.  Sister tracks,
Kingsport and Lonesome Pine have recently signed on for the coming
season and the remaining openings are in discussions.  "We
are happy to announce the return of Lonesome Pine as the addition of
Kingsport to our 2017 schedule', says Series Director Joe
Schmaling.  "Our registrations from the area gave us the
chance to add Kingsport which may prove to be a first step in
developing a potential Southern division of SCSCS."   The phones have
also been ringing at the SCSCS office from several facilities
regarding consideration for race dates. "We've received several
inquiries from tracks that have traditionally been viewed as being
outside what might most consider the traditional geography of the
series", adds Schmaling. From the outset, the SCSCS has paid
careful attention to the travel distances among all competitors and
strived, where practical, to establish as much of a balanced
schedule as possible.  "These new inquiries are being
explored including the possibility for several special events in
2017.  A more aggressive expansion could provide the platform
for a new division for 2018.  We are open to the possibilities
any expansion as the registration of teams indicate such
needs."   The beginning of the 2016 season also saw
adjustments in the rulebook to permit the use of cars and equipment
previously run in other series to compete.  Several new teams
came to the series during 2016 and more have expressed
interest.  "Teams considering 2017 competition should
register as soon as possible so that all considerations such as our
travel analysis, have been included."   "2016 saw new faces in the winner's circle
and other competitors showing vast improvements in their racing
programs.  We are looking forward to the same if not greater
competition during the upcoming 10th season for SCSCS",
comments Schmaling.  "We saw a full spectrum of racers,
young and experienced, running up front and take great pride in the
program we've have developed.  I would like to express my
gratitude to all of the racers, sponsors, officials, tracks as well
as others who have all been an important part of our success."   For more
