Mother
Nature Wins Once Again,
This Time at Jennerstown
The dark clouds
remained hovering over the Super Cup Stock Car Series at Jennerstown
Speedway. Despite a
committed track drying effort, officials were forced to cancel grand
opening night on Saturday due to persistent showers.
“Unfortunately,
the weather didn't cooperate with us today,” said track co-owner
John Taylor. “However, we at Jennerstown Speedway would like to
thank everyone that made it out today. We are hoping to plan many
future events with the Super Cup Stock Car Series.”
The series will
work with track management to secure a future race date.
Meanwhile, Super Cup teams and drivers look onward to the
next event at Columbus Motor Speedway in Ohio on Saturday, May 31st.
