2014 SCSCS Season Set to Begin Mid- April at Hickory Motor Speedway

Companion event with PASS Series for the Annual Easter Bunny 150

Skyland, North Carolina (December 2, 2013) - Returning to the site of it's very first event, the 2014 SCSCS season will begin at Hickory Motor Speedway on April 19th.  For the past several years HMS has been absent from the SCSCS schedule but returns as a part of the PASS Late Model Easter Bunny 150 as a companion series.

"The Easter Bunny 150 has grown to be the biggest Super Late Model race of the spring and we couldn't be more pleased to have the Super Cup Stock Car Series joining us to kick off their 2014 season," said PASS president Tom Mayberry.  "Having Super Cup on the racing card with the PASS Super Late models and PASS Pro Late Models on Easter weekend at Hickory further solidifies this as a can't miss event for short track racing fans around the country."

SCSCS president Joe Schmaling shares Mayberry's enthusiasm, " I'm excited to not only return to Hickory but also with the alliance of PASS and the Super Cup for this annual event.  We anticipate much success and hope this may be the beginning of other similar companion events in the future."

The 2014 schedule is filling in with many of the traditional tracks already committed to race dates.  Several TBA dates are remaining and expect to be completed in the very near future.
