Tyler Nuckles hits home run at Columbus Motor Speedway

Skyland, North Carolina (May 18, 2009) - Tyler wins at home in his first Super Cup race.  Lonnie Rush championship car owner prepared the car for Tyler.  When Tyler says he knows and feels the Speedway he means it!

Columbus Motor Speedway has been in the Nuckles family since 1946.

Tyler a third generation racer has been racing for thirteen years at CMS.

Home track advantage showed to be the key of the day.  Euro type qualifying set the field with Tyler on top of the leader board.

Tyler started third after draw/inversion and took the lead on lap one and never looked back, running anywhere he needed to stay out front.  Jake ( the snake ) Crum 2008 UARA national champion made several strikes during the race and could have bitten him at will.  Running side by side nose to tail Jake gave Tyler all he wanted and more.  Rounding out the top five where Todd Peck Glenville, PA; Kevin Kromer Walnutport, PA and Jack Jones Bevercreek, OH.
